| In the nuclear apocalypse, much of the world was destroyed, and though most great cities still exist in some form, no city in Europe remains as functional as London, and the country is especially dangerous, with free-roaming packs of Affected all over the place. As such, London has become a sort of a gathering point for all of Europe, with many cultures uniting there, and consequently, many literary characters living out their life stories there instead of in their original settings. Skyla Hoogaboom is a dutch girl who now lives in London while continuing to embrace Dutch culture. She is a master of Duch Windmill fighting, as you can see here, and is also gifted in the art of kicking people while wearing clogs. In addition, many, many other characters have migrated to London, some from as far away as the United States, and Africa, and from distant unknown islands. It is the happening place. Readers who are familiar with crazy stuff that there is no real reason for them to be familiar with will probably recognize Johnny in that group of Affected Misers that are running in that first big panel up there. You know. In the green suit with the shirt that says "PG" on it and with the long nose. I have played through Johnny 14. I had to skip the ones where I got stuck, which means I've beaten maybe 3 Johnny games. |
