| UPDATE: I AM SICK. Well, it's been a long time coming again, but this episode packs in a lot of meat, believe you me. I mean, I designed those Sergei Lorenzo banners, and I had to put together an entire news website and everything from scratch, only to chop off most of it to fit my strict sizing restrictions. This one, I guess, is for all of you who like appreciating attention paid to details that don't really end up coming across very much. All is not lost though, I will be using the Sergei Lorenzo ads to advertise myself for a while. That's not all the news though. It is also worth noting that I am VERY CLOSE to having a job. It's a funny story, but basically an employment agency indicated to me that they could have me working by tomorrow(Thursday), and that I should drive out to the twin cities to fill out paperwork. I did, and they told me that they "would keep an eye out for something for me." So I guess their confidence was shaken between when they called and when I arrived? At any rate, they had me do a general problem-solving and basic math test, and I got the best score that anybody ever has, so they are saying that I am getting first dibs on a job when it comes up. |
