Sorry I'm late, but I'm sure that you can all see where the time went. NEW RECORD tallest tall comic, and no book excerpts or anything. Most panels ever seen in a Tall Comic. I am telling you guys, this stuff is on the CUTTING EDGE of being a tall comic.

When I wrote this one, I was fully expecting to have snow on the ground by this weekend. The comic is not really timely anymore, but I could hardly go and do another one after I had started on this.

Who are those two guys in the car? Nobody in particular.

That said, let me just explain away some ALLEGED continuity errors: Between panel four and panel thirteen, Unwinder takes off his mittens and puts them in his pockets. After panel five, there is a sudden heat wave, and nobody's breath is visible anymore (this is also why Unwinder took his mittens off). In panels 18-end, Chug's seatbelt is hastily added in for a very good reason, but I don't want to spoil it for you.

For Shadow's car, I used my first car as a model. It was a 1986 Cadillac Cimarron, and it looked basically like that, except not warped in a few places (I hate drawing cars). The interior was all leather. My grandpa found it for me, and bought it without even consulting me because he assumed I'd buy it from him (which I did). To be honest, it wasn't exactly my dream car at the time, and I suspected that he had bought it to teach me a lesson about how you can't always have nice things. Now that I have driven a few other cars, I appreciate that it was a pretty decent automobile, even if the interior was made for old ladies who want to feel Victorian when they go out for cigarettes.

TWO THINGS YOU MAY HAVE MISSED: Unwinder used the carrot on his snowman as a period to abbreviate "THURS.". It is a common joke for the carrot to be used for something "other than the nose," but I don't think I've seen one used as punctuation before. Also, Mildred gave her Miley Cyrus lookalike bangs, because she wanted her to be super accurate.

I'd like to go on record thanking Cowbirds in Love for front-page linking me this week. It was a good traffic source for me.
