You can read it in the form of daily updates for the next almost-two-weeks. If you didn't read the warnings, this is not regular Unwinder fare, but is in fact a completely different story. It's based on a world that my friends and I invented for awesome tabletop roleplaying. The setting is a post-apocalyptic version of Victorian London where a nuclear blast from the future turned a lot of people into hideous mutants, and a lot of other people into awesome X-Men type mutants. The time-travel that sent the nuke back in time caused some really weird impossible timeline compression that squeezed about 200 years of history into one era. In the Apocalyptus world, Lemuel Gulliver and Benjamin Franklin are contemporaries with Gregor Samsa and The Wright Brothers. It's sort of a steampunk thing. Steam is treated more like a magical force than it is like, you know, actual steam. The rules to this game will be posted online upon their completion. The whole thing is based on a heavily revamped version of the D20 system, so you just know you are going to love it. |
